6 fab bottles of wine for under R50.

Shirley Griffiths of Vino Pronto in Gardens can sniff out a well priced wine from a distance.
She came up with a selection of wines  that deliver on taste and enjoyment, and price.
Here is her selection.

Bernard Veller of Nitida. He gave me the chance to come to Nitida 4 years ago and has taught me about every aspect of the business – from how to run the farm, the business, the vines and also how to make great wine.

Holy Moly, it’s Rawbones in Mzolis. A wine launch in Gugulethu and win 12 bottles of wine.

I’ll get straight to the point. 
These are two bloody great summer drinking braai wines. The red is R55, and the white is R45. 
You can glug them back with meats of any origin, braai’d to death in any sauce from sweet, to fiery.

 This week it’s a line up of Sauvignon Blancs,all under R50. This is the number one selling type of white wine in South Africa.    

We truffled out 8 great Sauvignon Blancs, all widely available.
