We are pleased to introduce the first ever Huletts Pastry Chef of the Year competition.
Sponsored by Huletts, these awards will recognise and reward excellence in the highly specialised pastry sector of the hospitality industry.
Pastry chefs from across South Africa will enter, and the top ten finalists will compete in a bake-off on September 10th, at a venue in Cape Town.
The winner will receive a prize of a trip to a top pastry institution in Paris, France and will spend an all expenses paid week working with the masters of this craft.
Everything to do with baking, cakes and desserts has become enormously popular in recent years, and there is huge interest from consumers.
