A new sushi outlet!
Who needs another new sushi restaurant? Cape Town is bulging at the waist with sushi, everyone and his mother is doing sushi. Even hard core steak houses offer sushi.
Well here’s the thing.
Sushi, sushi, sushi.
I need a new sushi shop/restaurant/delicatessen. Why? Because it’s close to where I live and convenience is king, is it not?
Selfish reasons aside, Newlands can always do with a decent additional place to eat. Decent restaurants in the southern burbs, as I’ve often moaned, are very thin on the ground.
So Christo Bornman’s initiative is to be applauded. And what can I say about the sushi……??? Isn’t sushi, sushi?
Actually no, not when it’s made freshly to order, uses good ingredients, and employs a chef (Terry Zhou) who is experienced and has a passion for what he does.
Try it out now, and Mike Duggan next door in Wine Concepts might even sell you a bottle of nice crisp white wine or a few bottles of beer to accompany your meal.
